US Road Running - Katy

Event details

The Medal Madness event takes place on June 13, 2026, at Mason Creek Hike & Bike Trail, 2500 Porter Road, Katy, TX 77493. The event includes three distance options and is organized by US Road Running. All participants must register on RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. Distances offered:

• 5K
• 10K
• Half Marathon (13.1M)

Course layouts:

• The 5K and 10K use a short out-and-back segment listed as 0.78 miles (out-and-back 1.56 miles). The 5K runs that segment two times and the 10K runs it four times.
• The Half Marathon uses an out-and-back segment listed as 1.09 miles (out-and-back 2.18 miles). The Half Marathon runs that segment six times.

• Finisher medals are offered. A shirt and gear shop, best costume recognition, series points, and awards are part of the event program.
