Event Overview
The US Road Running event in Katy, Texas, takes place at the Mason Creek Hike & Bike Trail. This organized race offers three distinct distances for participants to choose from. All participants must complete their registration through RunSignup prior to the event, as there is no option for on-site registration.
Distances
- 5K: An out-and-back course completed twice.
- 10K: An out-and-back course completed four times.
- Half Marathon: An out-and-back course completed six times.
Course Information
The routes are designed as out-and-back loops. For the 5K and 10K, the course length is approximately 0.78 miles per leg (1.56 miles for one full out-and-back). The Half Marathon utilizes a slightly longer loop of 1.09 miles per leg (2.18 miles for one full out-and-back). A strict time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes is enforced for all participants.
Participation Details
Packet pickup is available at the race location shortly before the start. Every runner who completes their selected distance will receive a finisher medal. The event also features a "Best Costume" component, and participants can earn points toward the US Road Running series.
