Event details
The Medal Madness event takes place on June 13, 2026 in Olympia, WA 98501 at Heritage Park (5th Ave SW and Water St SW). The event offers the following distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon (13.1M)
All participants must register online through RunSignup. There is no on-site registration. A packet pickup period is scheduled beginning 30 minutes before the race and ending 10 minutes before the race start. A course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes applies. Finisher medals and event shirts and gear are provided as part of the event services. The event includes awards, series points, and a best costume category.
Course and format
Courses are out-and-back routes. The 5K and 10K use a short out-and-back loop that is repeated for each distance; the 5K repeats the loop twice and the 10K repeats it four times. The half marathon uses a longer out-and-back loop that is repeated six times. Maps for the 5K/10K and half marathon courses are provided by the organizer.
