Medal Madness 5K, 10K, & 13.1M at Concord, NC
The event takes place at the Dogwood Shelter, 760 Orphanage Rd, Concord, NC. Runners must register in advance on RunSignup; there is no on-site registration and prices increase on the Monday before the race. Packet pickup opens 30 minutes before the race and closes 10 minutes before the race.
The courses are primarily paved with a stretch of gravel and dirt. The route is shaded. When entering the parking area, restrooms are located in the right corner of the lot.
Distances:
- 5K out-and-back equivalent to one 3.11 mile loop
- 10K out-and-back equivalent to two 3.11 mile loops
- 13.1M out-and-back composed of four 3.28 mile loops
Registration fees listed by event are $30 for the 5K, $45 for the 10K, and $65 for the 13.1 mile race. The course time limit for all events is 3 hours and 30 minutes.
