About the race
The Pirate event at Dogwood Shelter in Concord, North Carolina offers road running distances on a shaded course that is mostly paved with a stretch of gravel and dirt. The venue address is 760 Orphanage Rd, Concord, NC 28027.
Distances included:
- 5K : out and back, one loop
- 10K : out and back, two loops
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles) : out and back, four loops
The event uses out and back courses for all distances. Bathrooms are located in the right corner of the parking lot on arrival. Packet pickup begins 30 minutes before the race and ends 10 minutes before the race starts. There is no on-site registration; all runners must register on RunSignup. Registration fees listed are $30 for the 5K, $45 for the 10K, and $65 for the half marathon, and a price increase occurs on the Monday before the race.
