Viking 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon at Concord, NC
This event is held at the Dogwood Shelter in Concord, North Carolina, at 760 Orphanage Rd. Courses are out and back routes on a mostly paved surface with a short stretch of gravel and dirt. The setting is shaded and there are restrooms in the right corner of the parking lot when entering.

- 10K
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
The 5K and 10K use a roughly 1.56 mile one-way out and back segment; the 5K runs it once and the 10K runs it twice. The half marathon uses a roughly 1.64 mile one-way segment and completes that out and back loop four times. A course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes applies.
Registration is handled through RunSignup; on-site registration is not available. Entry fees listed by event are $30 for the 5K, $45 for the 10K, and $65 for the half marathon.
