Event Overview
The US Road Running event in Columbus, Georgia, features a series of road races held at Rotary Park. This event offers three distinct distances on a paved surface. Participants can choose between several distance options:

Course Details
The races utilize an out-and-back format on a paved course. The 5K and 10K participants use a 0.78-mile out-and-back segment (totaling 1.56 miles per lap). Runners completing the 5K will finish two laps, while 10K runners must complete four laps. Participant in the Half Marathon use a 1.09-mile out-and-back segment (totaling 2.16 miles per lap) and must complete the course six times.
A total course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes is enforced for all participants. Bathroom facilities are located within the park's parking lot.
Participation and Awards
Registration must be completed online in advance, as there is no option for on-site registration. Packet pickup is available at the race location shortly before the start. All finishers receive a medal, and there are specific awards for race winners. The event also includes a costume competition, where runners are encouraged to dress according to the luau theme for a chance to win the best costume award.
