Columbus Botanical Gardens 5K (Columbus, GA)
The Columbus Botanical Gardens 5K is scheduled for May 2, 2026, at Columbus Botanical Gardens, 3603 Weems Rd, Columbus, GA 31909. The event features a 5K run and walk routed through the trails around Lake Heath and the on-site trails of the gardens.
Registration fees change by date: $30 through April 17, 2026; $35 from April 18 through May 1, 2026; and $40 for race day registration onsite. To be guaranteed a commemorative race shirt, registration must be completed by April 17, 2026. The first 325 finishers will receive a finishers medal.
The event is part of the CRR Classic Series; participants already entered in the Classic Series are not required to register for the individual race. Award categories for the 5K include 1st, 2nd, and 3rd overall, 1st Masters, and age-group awards in ten-year increments up to 70+ with separate male and female placements.
Packet pickup is available at Big Dog Running Co, 12 11th St, on May 1 and at Columbus Botanical Gardens on May 2. After expenses, proceeds will be donated to Columbus Botanical Gardens. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
