The Columbus Botanical Gardens 5K is scheduled for Saturday, May 2, 2026, at Columbus Botanical Gardens, 3603 Weems Rd, Columbus, GA 31909. The course is listed as TBD but is planned to wind through trails around Lake Heath and the gardens. The race is part of the CRR Classic Series; participants already registered in the Classic Series do not need to register separately for this race. Proceeds will be donated to Columbus Botanical Gardens after expenses.
Registration, packet pickup and awards
Online registration opens January 1, 2026 at 7:00 AM EST. Entry fees are $30 through April 17, 2026; $35 from April 18 through May 1, 2026 (until 6:00 PM); and $40 for race-day registration onsite. To be guaranteed a commemorative race shirt, registration must be completed by April 17, 2026. Packet pickup is at Big Dog Running Co, 12 11th St, on Friday, May 1 (12:00 PM - 6:00 PM), with additional pickup on Saturday at Columbus Botanical Gardens. All finishers will receive a finisher award. Awards for the 5K include 1st, 2nd and 3rd overall; 1st Masters; and age-group awards in 10-year increments up to 70+, with male and female categories in all groups.
