Event Overview
This running event takes place in Athens, Georgia, on Saturday, May 9, 2026. Participants can choose from three race distances: 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon.
Course Details
All courses use an out-and-back format on the North Oconee River Greenway. The 5K and 10K share a 1.56-mile segment; the 5K completes one out-and-back loop for a total of 3.11 miles, while the 10K completes the loop twice. The Half Marathon uses a separate 1.64-mile segment and completes four out-and-back loops for a total of 13.1 miles. A time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes applies for completing the course.
Registration and Logistics
All runners must register online through RunSignup, as there is no on-site registration. Packet pickup begins 30 minutes before the race start and ends 10 minutes prior. There is a parking lot near the starting point at the North Oconee River Greenway Trailhead.
Additional Information
All finishers receive a themed medal. Costumes are encouraged but not required. The race contributes points to the US Road Running Race Series. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
