Urban Wildland Half Marathon & 5K (Richfield, MN)
The Urban Wildland event in Richfield offers in-person and virtual options for a half marathon and a 5K. The course route runs through parts of the city described as scenic, with the start and finish located near the Richfield Band Shell; the official start/finish point is 100 feet south of the Band Shell on the parking lot service road.
The event is presented by Wood Lake Nature Center. One hundred percent of race proceeds benefit environmental education. The race reflects a long standing partnership between the Richfield School District and the Nature Center that has lasted over 50 years.
Packet pickup for in-person participants is handled at the Richfield Band Shell (next to the Arena at 636 E 66th St). Packet pickup includes bib, timing chip and the finisher shirt when the registration option includes a shirt. Virtual registrations include domestic US shipping of the shirt and finisher medal when a shirt or medal is selected; international shipping requires contact with the organizer. Registrations after July 8 do not include a runner shirt. Any leftover race shirts may be available for purchase after the event for $15 and unclaimed shirts become the property of the event.
Lockers are available inside the arena but are not supervised; runners may bring their own padlock. In-person race results are posted by MTEC Results. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
