Upton VFW Run to Remember 5K
The 17th Annual Run to Remember 5K is a community road event in Upton that honors Active, Reserve, Guard members and veterans. Participants are encouraged to wear the name of a veteran they wish to honor; the Post can provide names for those who do not know one.
The course is USATF certified (course ID MA18301JK, effective August 4, 2023). The route is a mostly flat, family-friendly course on 100% roads. Walkers and joggers with strollers are welcome and are asked to start behind runners. No pets are allowed.

- 5K USATF certified road course
- 2.25K family walk
- Kids Fun Run for children ages 10 and under
Registration details include early registration and day-of options. Early registration fee is $30. Reduced early fee of $25 applies to ages 6 to 15 and ages 80 to 100. Day-of race registration fee is $35. To be guaranteed a t-shirt, registration must be completed by Saturday, September 19th. Online pre-registration closes Friday, October 2nd.
Race packets and t-shirts may be picked up at Upton VFW Post 5594, 15 Milford Street. Awards are given for overall and age group placings, for veterans, and for teacher, firefighter, and police officer categories. Water and toilets are provided at check-in, with water on course and refreshments at the finish. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
