Upstate Strut for Childhood Cancer Race
The Upstate Strut for Childhood Cancer Race is a community sports event held at the Milliken Arboretum in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Scheduled for September 26, 2026, the event serves as a fundraiser for Children's Cancer Partners of the Carolinas, with proceeds supporting children in the Upstate region who are battling cancer.
Participants can choose between two main events:
- 5K Run
- 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk
The course takes place at the Milliken Arboretum, located at 920 Milliken Road. The event is open to various types of participants, including runners, joggers, and those using family strollers. Participants also have the option to register as individuals or join and create teams during the registration process.
Awards are presented to the top three male and female finishers overall. Additionally, prizes are available for the top male and female finishers within specific age groups. The age categories for these awards include 0-16, 17-34, 35-54, 55-69, and 70+.
Event t-shirts are provided to the first 200 registrants. For those who register before October 15, specific shirt sizes are guaranteed, while later registrants receive sizes based on remaining availability. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
