Upper Cumberland Haunted Half Marathon

WCTE PBS 19th Annual Upper Cumberland Haunted Half Marathon, Relay, & 5K - October 24, 2026

This event features three races held on October 24, 2026, presented by WCTE PBS. Registration proceeds support WCTE PBS 100 percent. Registered runners are eligible for a discounted ticket to the Craft Beer Festival held the same day. The race is a qualifier for the Run the Cumberland Race Series.

Race options include:

• Haunted Half 13.1 miles on a scenic country course with several water stations and bathroom stops.
• Relay Team three-person team covering the 13.1 mile distance with each runner completing a portion.
• 5K shares the same start and finish line and the first mile of the half marathon.

Each registered finisher receives a themed finisher medal. Race shirts are provided if registration is completed by September 15, 2026. A custom race bib with name and number is provided if registered by October 1, 2026.

Awards include finisher costume medals at the finish line, overall top three male and female awards for the 5K and half marathon, first place for relay teams, age-group awards in five-year brackets, and Master and Grand Master awards for half marathon runners aged 40 to 59 and 60 and over respectively. Best costume awards will be given for male, female, and relay teams.

Participants must be at least 12 years old to run the half marathon and at least 10 years old to run the 5K. The race route will be closed after three hours, during which no police or ambulance services will be present on the road route. Completing the half within the cutoff requires about a 13.5 minute per mile pace. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
