TRAP 2026 (Trail Run and Plunge)

TRAP 2026 is scheduled for Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Meadow Creek Park, 19195 Clarkrange Hwy, Monterey, TN (36.11537 N, 85.18784 W). The event program includes the main Trail Run and Plunge event, a Plunge Only option, and a Kid Fun Run / Ball Pit Plunge. The trail run is described as a recreational 5(ish)K run. Listed prices for the events are $48.70 for the main event (fee included), $27.50 for Plunge Only (fee included), and no charge for the Kid Fun Run.

Location, age rules and facilities

Plunge Only participation is restricted to ages 13 and up. Breakfast items, beverages and a swag item are included with the price of a ticket. The lake bottom is natural, so shoes or water shoes are recommended. An outdoor changing station will be available onsite; a change of clothes and a warm blanket are recommended. A few tents with small heaters will be provided to warm participants after the plunge. EMS personnel will be onsite. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
