Cummins Falls Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K and 5K
This event organizes four road races on rural back roads around Cummins Falls State Park near Cookeville, Tennessee. Routes for the marathon, half marathon, and 10K follow the Blackburn Fork State Scenic River for portions of the course. The races are chip timed and feature aid stations approximately every 2 to 3 miles.
Distances:
- Marathon - 26.2 Miles
- Half Marathon - 13.1 Miles
- 10K - 10 kilometers
- 5K - 5 kilometers
Finisher medals are awarded to all finishers; distinctive wood medals are used for finishers across all distances. Awards are given for first through third place overall for male and female, and for first through third within the age groups 0-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80+. Masters awards are available for ages 40 and up and grand masters awards for ages 50 and up. Marathon and half marathon participants are subject to an eight hour cutoff. Walkers are welcome in the 5K and 10K.
Team discounts are available for groups registering together, with automatic refunds applied to earlier registrants when team thresholds are met. The event has a no refund policy except for cancellation due to public health concerns; deferrals or refunds minus service fees are offered in that case.
Packet pickup includes a Friday drive-up session in the parking lot behind St. Michael's Episcopal Church in Cookeville and race morning pickup at the park. Music is allowed on course. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
