Glasgow Green 5k, 10k and Half Marathon

Up and Running Events stages multiple distance road races at Glasgow Green, located on Greendyke Street, Saltmarket, Glasgow G1 5DB. Distances offered include:

All races are chip timed on a measured course. Race chips are included on the race number bib issued at on-site registration on event day and should be secured to an outer garment. The event provides a finishers medal, hydration stations, kilometre markers, course marshals, music on course, an instructor-led warm up, and goody bags with sports nutrition items and offers.

Entry and event administration details in the lead up to the race are sent by email after registration and are stored in the participant profile with the booking partner. Online entries typically close two days before the event if the event has not sold out; on-the-day entries are usually available and are allocated on a first come, first served basis. Typical on-the-day cash entry fees are shown for reference.

Age guidelines follow Scottish Athletics recommendations: 5k runners should be 11 or older and 10k runners should be older than 15. Children remain the responsibility of a parent or guardian who must remain onsite. Dogs are not permitted on the course. Standard headphones are not allowed; bone conduction headphones are permitted.

The organiser’s cancellation and transfer policy allows refunds up to 30 days before the event, transfers or voucher points up to 7 days prior, and limited transfer or virtual entry options within 3 days, subject to contacting the organiser ahead of event day.
