Run Glasgow Green
MoRun Glasgow takes place at Glasgow Green, with the event hub located near the People's Palace. The event supports the Movember charity to raise awareness for men's health. The courses are primarily on flat paths and are accessible for buggy running, wheelchairs, and participants running with dogs.
The event offers several distances to accommodate different goals:
- 1.5 km Mini MoRun for children
- 5 km (one lap)
- 10 km (two laps)
- Half Marathon (one 1.1 km loop followed by four full laps)
All participants receive a race number with an integrated timing chip for instant results. Finisher rewards include a unique MoRun medal and a themed headband. The event also features a fancy dress competition and spot prizes for categories such as best costume and "fastest Mo."
Facilities at the venue include a manned bag storage area next to the registration tents and toilets within the event hub. Water and snacks are provided at the finish line for all runners.
