Event details
The United We Run 5K Run & Walk is scheduled for Saturday, March 21, 2026, in Gainesville, GA. The event includes an in-person 5K run/walk and a Virtual Run. The in-person start location is listed as Chicopee Baptist Church, 13 1st St, Gainesville, GA 30504. The course runs through Phase II of the Highlands to Islands Trail. The course is paved and USATF certified, certification date July 15, 2022. Proceeds will benefit United Way of Hall County’s One Hall: United Against Poverty Initiative. Events will be held rain or shine; in dangerous weather organizers will attempt to reschedule. All entry fees are non-refundable and may be applied to a rescheduled event or donated to United Way of Hall County.
Logistics and awards
Standard registration price for each event is $35; the in-person price increases after January 7, 2026, and the virtual price increases after March 4, 2026. Race participant packets are available for pickup on Friday, March 20, 2026, at United Way of Hall County, 527 Oak Street, Gainesville, GA 30501, and packet pickup and registration are also available the morning of the event. 5K age divisions begin at 19 & under and continue in 5-year bands to 60+. Each 5K participant receives a t-shirt. Medals will be awarded to top finishers in each age group, to the top overall male and female, and to the top overall masters male and female (40 years plus).
