Unified 5K - Twin Cities
The 2nd Annual Unified 5K Twin Cities takes place on June 14, 2026, at Harriet Island, 200 Dr. Justus Ohage Blvd, Saint Paul, MN. The event is an accessible road race that highlights participation by athletes with and without disabilities.
Course options include:
- 5k route
- One Mile route
The event program includes an AdaptXpo for adaptive sports organizations and companies that support individuals with disabilities. Volunteer roles are part of the event to help manage safety and operations. Sponsorship opportunities are offered with various levels.
Through a partnership with Less Leg More Heart, a running blade will be donated to an amputee at each race. The organizers also aim to donate a Hoyt Running Chair or a handcycle at multiple races and accept applications for potential recipients. A separate Adaptive Fitness Beneficiary initiative invites local fitness facilities to engage with the AdaptX Academy curriculum and to be considered for adaptive fitness equipment.
Photographic materials associated with the event show a range of athletes and adaptive equipment. The description above summarizes core elements of the Twin Cities event without registration details. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
