The UNF SNA Baby 5K

The UNF SNA Baby 5K is a nonprofit athletic event hosted by the University of North Florida Student Nurses Association. Located at the University of North Florida campus in Jacksonville, Florida, the event is organized to support children with disabilities and their families. This year, the proceedings specifically benefit the Alagille Syndrome Alliance (ALGSA), an organization focused on improving the lives of those affected by Alagille syndrome.

The event offers a single distance for participants:

  • 5 km

The Alagille Syndrome Alliance uses funds to support research for medical treatments, provide educational resources for families, and increase global awareness of this rare genetic condition. The syndrome can impact several vital systems, including the liver, heart, and kidneys. By participating in this event, runners contribute to advocacy and community building for families navigating these medical challenges.

Registration options are available for the general public, with discounted rates offered to specific groups including students, healthcare workers, first responders, parents of disabled children, and individuals living with disabilities. Depending on the registration tier selected, participants may receive an event shirt. There is also a registration category available for those who prefer not to receive promotional merchandise. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
