Under the Bridge 5K/10K Benefit Race
Under the Bridge Ministries organizes the first annual Under the Bridge 5K/10K Race and Fun Run/Walk in Fort Worth, Texas. The event features chip timed 5K and 10K races and a Kids 400m dash for children age 10 and under.
The course starts and finishes at the Hope Church parking lot at 1750 Beach St and follows the Trinity Trails, with sections that include inclines and declines. The 5K is an out-and-back course and the 10K consists of running the 5K course twice. Parents may run with children in the Kids Dash.
All 5K and 10K participants receive a finisher medal and a tech shirt while supplies last. Kids Dash participants receive a finisher medal; shirts are available for purchase. The event includes pre-race and post-race activities such as music, sponsor booths, a pre-race warm-up, and a finishers tent offering results, water, and refreshments.
The race benefits Under the Bridge Ministries, Inc., a 501c3 nonprofit that serves the homeless community in Fort Worth and has operated since 2020. Entry fees listed for the event include a registration fee for the 5K and 10K and no fee for the Kids Dash. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
