UMSL 5K Run/Walk
The UMSL 5K Run/Walk is a campus event hosted by the UMSL Alumni Association on the University of Missouri - St. Louis campus at 1 University Blvd., Saint Louis, MO 63121. This edition is the sixth annual running of the event and takes participants through the heart of the university.
Event categories include a 5K and a Kid's Fun Run. Children under 10 can join the Kid's Fun Run for free when a parent registers for a paid 5K Run/Walk entry. A virtual 5K option is also offered.
Finish line recognition is provided by Walter Knoll Florist; every runner receives a rose at the finish. Top male and female finishers in each category receive a dozen-rose bouquet. All participants receive a commemorative race t-shirt, a medal, and other Triton treats. Proceeds from the 5K Run/Walk benefit the UMSL Athletics Department.
Local partner Corner 17 offers a 15% discount on October 17 to participants who show their race bib at either location.
