UMSL 5K Run/Walk : University of Missouri–St. Louis
The UMSL Alumni Association hosts the sixth annual UMSL 5K Run/Walk on the University of Missouri–St. Louis campus. The event includes on-campus and virtual options, plus a separate Kid's Fun Run for younger participants. All proceeds from the 5K benefit the UMSL Athletics Department.
Finish line arrangements include a rose for every runner provided by the event's Finish Line Sponsor, Walter Knoll Florist, and the top male and female finishers in each category receive a dozen-rose bouquet. Participants receive a commemorative race t-shirt, a medal, and other Triton-branded treats. Corner 17 offers a 15% discount on October 17 to those who show their race bib at either location.
Children under 10 may join the UMSL Kid's Fun Run for free when a parent registers for a paid 5K Run/Walk entry. Registration fees listed by category are: $20 for current UMSL students, $30 for alumni, family and friends, $40 for the virtual 5K, and $10 for the Kid's Fun Run.
