UMEI Lightning Bolt

The 9th Annual UMEI Lightning Bolt is a family-friendly running and walking event held at Point Pelee National Park in Leamington, Ontario. Participants can choose from a 5K or 10K run or walk, with the 10K consisting of two laps of the 5K course. There are also kids' events including a 1K run and a 400m dash.

The race is chip-timed by W.R.A.C.E and offers awards for top finishers. Registration includes free park entry, a race shirt (for early registrants), post-race refreshments featuring Mennonite sausage, swag bags, and door prizes. Proceeds support affordable private Christian education at UMEI.
