UMEI Lightning Bolt

The 9th Annual UMEI Lightning Bolt takes place at Point Pelee National Park, Point Pelee Drive, Leamington, Ontario. The family-friendly event offers a 10k run, a 5k run or walk, a 1k kids’ run, and a 400m kids’ dash. The course consists of a 5k lap, with the 10k participants completing two laps.

It is a chip-timed WRACE event and serves as a qualifier. Registration includes free park entry, a race shirt for early birds, a swag bag, and post-race refreshments. Proceeds support UMEI Christian education; prizes include awards, door prizes, and a chance to win AIRPODS through pledges.
