About the Event
The Big Red Shoe Run is an in-person charity sports event. Its ninth edition will take place on a Sunday in April 2026 at the Atlas Tube Recreation Centre, located at 447 Renaud Line Rd in Belle River, Ontario.
The event aims to raise funds for Ronald McDonald House Charities - Southwestern Ontario (RMHC-SWO). It gathers participants and sponsors from various areas such as Tilbury, LaSalle, Leamington, and Windsor.
Distances and Participation
Two race distances are offered:
- 5K Event: Open to anyone over the age of 10. Registration for the 5K is open.
- Kids Dash: A separate race for children.
Team participation is encouraged. The event is also family-friendly.
