UltraTrax Bear Creek : Macungie, PA
UltraTrax Bear Creek is a trail running event held at Bear Creek Mountain Resort in Macungie, Pennsylvania on April 3, 2027. The event offers multiple looped courses across wooded terrain with varied paths and up to 1,200 feet of elevation change.
Participants can choose from the following distances:
- 7 miles (Level 1)
- 14 miles (Level 2)
- 21 miles (Level 3)
- 28 miles (Level 4)
Runners may opt to carry additional weight to modify the challenge; carry options include 10, 20, or 35 pounds, with extra swag for those who do. Aid stations supplying water, electrolytes, and snacks are located approximately every 2–3 miles, and portable restrooms are available at similar intervals. The course route has been adjusted this year to include additional double track trails between miles 2 and 5.
On-site amenities include complimentary parking at Bear Creek Mountain Resort and food and refreshments available for purchase after the event. Finishers in the 21- and 28-mile levels receive a custom t-shirt, patch, and medal. A portion of event proceeds is donated to the Conservation Lands Foundation.
