Ultra Trail du Mont Gosford
The event is sanctioned by the Fédération d'athlétisme du Québec and is a member of the International Trail Running Association. It will hold its second edition in 2026 and the schedule lists activities on July 17 and 18.
Races take place in ZEC Louise Gosford, near Chartierville and Woburn, on natural border trails that offer views on the Canadian side and toward the United States. The route passes Mont Salmon, Mont d'Urban, Montagne de Marbre, Mont Saddle, Mont Gosford and Petit Gosford.
Offered formats include multiple distances:
- 1 km
- 5 km
- 10 km
- 17 km
- 30 km
- 50 km
- 80 to 82 km, flagship event of about 82 km with 4278 m positive elevation gain, available solo or as a three-person team
Shuttles are provided before the race to parking in Chartierville when needed. The event has ITRA points (ITRA 4, Mountain points 5) and emphasizes organized, recognized trail running on wild, natural terrain within the ZEC. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
