Ultra Trail du Mont Gosford
Ultra Trail du Mont Gosford will hold its second edition in 2026 with a revised format. The event is sanctioned by the Fédération d'athlétisme du Québec and is a member of the International Trail Running Association; it carries ITRA points (ITRA 4, Mountain points 5).
Races take place mainly in ZEC Louise-Gosford in Woburn and follow border trails that provide views on both the Canadian and U.S. sides. The course passes Mont Salmon, Mont d'Urban, Montagne de Marbre, Mont Saddle, Mont Gosford and Petit Gosford. Shuttles are arranged to transport runners to certain start locations.
The program highlights a flagship distance around 80 to 82 km with 4278 meters of positive elevation; this event can be run solo or as a team of three, with each teammate covering an approximately 27 km section in succession. Several other race formats are included in the schedule.
