Ultra Trail du Mont Gosford

Ultra Trail du Mont Gosford is a trail running event sanctioned by the Fédération d'athlétisme du Québec and affiliated with the International Trail Running Association. The event will hold its second edition in 2026 with a revised format and takes place inside ZEC Louise Gosford, home to the highest mountain south of Quebec, and on border trails toward the United States.

The event features a flagship distance of about 80 km with 4278 m of positive elevation gain. This distance can be run solo or as a relay by teams of three; each teammate runs a preestablished section of about 27 km in turn.

Most races start at the ZEC Louise Gosford reception. The 50 km and the flagship distance start in Chartierville, near the U.S. border. The course follows border trails and passes Mont Salmon, Mont d'Urban, Montagne de Marbre, Mont Saddle, Mont Gosford and Petit Gosford before completing the final loop back to the ZEC reception. Shuttle service will transport runners to the Chartierville parking area if needed before the race.
