Course and race options

The course follows the water edges of the Canning and Swan rivers. The route passes Matagarup Bridge, the Optus Stadium precinct, Elizabeth Quay, Kings Park and areas along the Narrows. The 50 km route is described as running from Bayswater to East Perth, crossing Matagarup Bridge and the Causeway, going to Nedlands, down through the Narrows to Deepwater Point, and finishing on the South Perth Foreshore.

Since 2024, the 50 km event includes relay options for duos or teams of three or four.
