Ultra Perth Road Marathon
Ultra Perth is a road running event hosted in South Perth at Sir James Mitchell Park. The event features an AIMS-certified course known for being flat and fast. The route is designed with wide footpaths following the banks of the Swan and Canning Rivers, allowing for rhythm-based running without road crossings or interruptions.
Participants pass several local landmarks, including the Booroloo Bridge, Elizabeth Quay, and the Narrows Bridge. The course offers continuous views of the water and concludes with a finish against the Perth city skyline. Available distances include:
- 50 km individual ultra marathon
- 50 km relay teams
- 21 km half marathon
- 10 km road race
The event includes specialized Elite categories and wave starts to manage participant flow. Support infrastructure features transition stations, drop bag services, and shuttle buses. For those running with a group, a Club Challenge offers point-based competitions and specific rewards for clubs with more than 25 members.
Spectators and support crews can access various viewing locations along the riverfront loop. The event provides a race manual and technical guides covering course etiquette and cut-off times. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
