The course follows the water’s edge of the Canning and Swan rivers and passes several city landmarks, including Matagarup Bridge, the Optus Stadium precinct, Elizabeth Quay and Kings Park. The route moves from Bayswater to East Perth, crosses Matagarup Bridge and the Causeway, continues to Nedlands and down through the Narrows to Deepwater Point, and finishes on the South Perth Foreshore.
