Uloha Kailua Half Marathon
The Uloha Kailua Half Marathon is part of a marathon series held in Kailua, Hawaii. The course runs through the Kailua and Lanikai areas and currently includes a loop around Mokapu and Kaneohe Bay Drive; organizers note a possible small re-route to the course.
Organizers made a last-minute direction change in 2025 that reversed race flow and swapped start and finish areas, which caused chaos at the start. They worked with another event and the city to resolve those issues. For the current edition the start, late registration, and packet pickup are planned on the northeast side of the park behind Kalapawai Market, where additional porta potties and lighting will be provided.
New for this edition are upgraded fully custom tech shirts for the first 500 entrants, custom medals, and more porta potties. Packet pickup takes place at ULOHA in town on the following dates and times: Friday, October 2, 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm; Saturday, October 3, 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
Awards include overall top three male and female finishers in both the half marathon and the 5K, age group prizes for specified age brackets in each race, and a finisher medal for every runner who completes a race. Parking is available at free lots throughout Kailua Beach Park and on surrounding streets subject to posted regulations. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
