Uloha Kailua Half Marathon
The Uloha Kailua event includes a half marathon and a 5K in Kailua, Hawaii, with courses that run through the Kailua and Lanikai areas. The advertised half marathon covers 13.1 miles and the event also offers a 5K.
The current course includes a loop around Mokapu and Kaneohe Bay Drive; organizers are evaluating a possible partial reroute of that section. In 2025 the race direction and start and finish areas were reversed at short notice; organizers say they have coordinated with another event and the city to avoid a repeat of those issues.
The start area, late registration, and packet pickup are planned for the northeast side of the park behind Kalapawai Market, where additional lighting and extra porta potties will be provided. New features for this edition include upgraded fully custom tech shirts for the first 500 entrants, custom medals, and more porta potties.
Packet pickup will be held at ULOHA in town on Friday, October 2, 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm, and Saturday, October 3, 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
Awards include overall top three male and female finishers for both distances, age group prizes for specified brackets, and a finisher medal for every runner.
Parking is available in free lots throughout Kailua Beach Park; these lots can fill quickly. Additional street parking is available where permitted. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
