UK Nordic Walking Championships - Edinburgh (11 October 2026)
The event is scheduled for 11 October 2026 in Edinburgh. The competition is associated with Holyrood Park Education Centre; the exact venue address will be announced shortly.
All interested people may take part after registration in advance via the organizer's application form or on the day at the Competition Office. As provided, 26 walkers have registered.

- 5 km
- 10 km
Children categories cover ages 1 to 9 for the shortest distance and 10 to 15 for 2.5 km. The 5 km race includes open women and men categories, categories for disabled participants, and age groups 16-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-74, and 75+. The 10 km race includes open women and men categories and age groups 16-44, 45-54, 55-64, and 65+.
Entry fees for the 5 km and 10 km events are €20. Participants who register after 9 October 2026 pay an additional €5. Juniors under 16 who register by 9 October 2026 may participate free of charge; juniors and children who register after that date pay an additional €1.
The event is ranked as UK Championships with a point conversion rate of 2500 for the top competitor. Points earned count toward the Scottish League, the UK Nordic Walking League, and the World Nordic Walking League cycles.
