Ugly Sweater Run or Walk 5K
This event is a festive, chip-timed 5K run or walk held on December 5, 2026 in Sisters, Oregon, with a family-oriented atmosphere and a post-race gathering at The Barn. Registration is required and youth pricing is offered for participants 15 years and younger. Team entries of six or more receive a discount that is refunded once the team size is reached.
Included items and services for registered participants are listed: a handcrafted ugly Christmas sweater medal, a Christmas beanie for the first 300 participants, holiday glasses, jingle bells for shoes, candy canes, custom race bibs, hot chocolate and coffee at the start area, and special finisher treats from Sisters Bakery. A complimentary beverage is available at The Barn; child-appropriate beverages are provided under youth registration terms. The event features an ugly sweater contest and parade with categories for individuals, couples, families or teams, and a dog category.
A free kids dash is offered for ages 3 to 10 with two waves (ages 3-5 and 6-10); children must be registered and parents may run with younger participants. Dogs on leash are allowed and may dress up.
