Tywarnhayle 10K

The Tywarnhayle 10K is a popular running event in Cornwall, part of the Multi-Terrain Race Series. The race features a scenic route starting from Mount Hawke cricket club, incorporating coastal paths and technical descents around Chapel Porth and Tywarnhayle mine. Limited to 230 participants, the event promotes inclusivity by offering free entries to young runners and first-time racers.

A portion of the entry fees supports the South West Coast Path Association. Additionally, a children's race, the Twarnyale24, invites kids up to 15 years to compete for laps in 24 minutes.
