TXTRI - Canyon Park
TXTRI at Canyon Park, Canyon Lake, Texas, offers multiple race formats with courses inside the park and an Olympic route that extends onto nearby county roads. The park will be closed to traffic during the in-park portions, and the Olympic bike route will have county sheriff traffic control outside the park.
Key course details include a triangle swim start from boat ramp 18, with separate course lengths for sprint and Olympic distances. The sprint bike is a closed five-lap loop around the park totaling about 11.4 miles, and the sprint run is a four-loop course totaling 2.2 miles, both self-marshaled with lap counting on the honor system. The Olympic bike is a 43 km ride that travels outside the park and returns to transition; the Olympic run is a two-loop 10 km course inside the park.
The event also offers DU3 format options that let participants skip one discipline: Swim/Bike (AquaBike), Swim/Run (Aquathlon), or Bike/Run (Duathlon). Packet pick-up is scheduled for race morning only. Awards are planned for top three in age groups for triathlon and top three male and female in each DU3 category.
