TXTRI - Canyon Park
TXTRI at Canyon Park on November 8, 2026 is a multisport event at 1769 Canyon Park Rd, Canyon Lake, TX. The program offers sprint and Olympic distance triathlons together with alternative DU3 formats that pair two disciplines. The park will be closed to traffic for on-site course sections.
The sprint course uses lake and park loops. The swim is a 500 meter triangle, counter-clockwise, starting from boat ramp 18 with time trial starts of one to two swimmers every three seconds and numbers assigned by age group. The bike is a counterclockwise, five-lap closed loop totaling about 11.4 miles. The run is a clockwise, four-loop 2.2-mile closed course. Laps on bike and run are self-marshaled and counted on the honor system.
The Olympic intermediate course features a 1500 meter triangle swim from the same boat ramp with similar time trial starts, a 43K bike route that exits the park and follows county roads including sections over Devils Backbone and Purgatory Road with Comal County Sheriff traffic control on the open road portions, and a two-loop 10K run entirely inside the park without traffic.
The DU3 format offers three options: AquaBike (swim and bike), Aquathlon (swim and run), and Duathlon (bike and run). Packet pick up is race morning only. Age group awards are given to the top three in multiple age bands, and event results will be posted to the event timer service. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
