TWW Turkey Trot and Drumstick Dash - 2026
Tawas Wellness hosts the TWW Turkey Trot and Drumstick Dash, a family 5k fun run/walk and 1 mile run/walk. All proceeds will support the free Community Thanksgiving dinner hosted by Tawas Wellness at The Collective. The race start and finish are at The Collective, 821 Newman Street, East Tawas.

Online registration opens on April 1, 2026 and closes November 25, 2026. In-person registration is available November 25 and on race day. Fees listed for pre-race registration are $25 for the 5k and $15 for the 1 mile; the 5k includes a family discount of $5 off per person for groups of three or more. Race day fees increase from the pre-race amounts.
Packet pickup is scheduled for Wednesday, November 25 and on race day at The Collective. The event will be gun timed. Awards include medals for multiple age and overall categories for 5k runners and medals for overall placements in the 5k walk and 1 mile run and walk. An award ceremony is planned at 11:15.
All fees are non-refundable. T-shirts are available for the first 150 registered and sizes are not guaranteed. Participants must be present to receive T-shirts, hats, and awards. For safety, dogs should be leashed, bike helmets worn, and runners who push strollers should stay to the side. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
