Tawas Bay Summerfest 5k/10k
Tawas Bay Summerfest is a community race held in East Tawas on July 11, 2026, organized by Tawas Wellness in collaboration with the Tawas Area Chamber of Commerce. Proceeds are divided between Tawas Wellness and the Tawas Area Chamber of Commerce.
The event offers the following distances:
- 5k Run or Walk (3.1 miles)
- 10k Run (6.2 miles)
The start and finish are at The Collective, 821 Newman Street, East Tawas, MI 48730. Overflow parking is available at the East Tawas Community Center, 760 Newman Street. Packet pickup is available the day before at Tawas City Shoreline Park and on race day at The Collective. Pre-registration is available online. Race timing is chip based and managed by A2 Race Management.
Entry fees are listed separately for regular and day of race registration, with a $10 discount for participants ages 10 and under. All fees are non refundable. T shirts are available to the first 150 registered and sizes are not guaranteed. Awards are given for overall and age group categories for runners, and overall places for 5k walkers.
