Two Hearted Trail Run
The Two Hearted Trail Run takes place in a remote part of Michigan's northeastern Upper Peninsula, an area made famous by Ernest Hemingway. The event offers three race distances: a 50K, a Marathon, and a Half Marathon.
All races finish at the Upper Tahquamenon Falls. For the longer distances, the course consists of 80% single-track trail and 20% dirt forest road or two-track. It follows the rugged Lake Superior shoreline and winds inland along Culhane Lake and the Little Two Hearted River. The half marathon route is a loop through old-growth white pine forest and along a ridge on Clark Lake. The Camp 33 Brew Pub is located 200 meters from the finish line.
The event is operated by Aravaipa Running. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
