Course Details

The route connects the Upper and Lower Tahquamenon Falls, crossing a new pedestrian bridge to complete a loop on an island trail. The course is described as a "very technical trail" with significant elevation changes and slippery sections. Participants must be able to maintain a pace to reach the aid station at the pedestrian bridge within 90 minutes.

Registration and Logistics

Registration is capped at 100 participants. Early packet pickup is available the day before the race near the Tahquamenon Brewery, with another pickup on race morning. The start and finish area is located near a trailhead just east of the Tahquamenon Brewery. A Michigan Recreation Pass is required to enter the state park, available as a day pass or with a vehicle registration.

Participant Information

All finishers receive a medal. Awards are given for overall, master, and grand master categories, as well as for first place in several age groups. Participants are required to carry a cellular device for emergencies. Dogs and strollers are not allowed on the course.

Aid and Refreshments

One aid station is located at the pedestrian bridge, offering water, sports drinks, and various snacks. Finish line refreshments are also provided. After the race, participants can visit the nearby Tahquamenon Brewery. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
