Event Overview
The Tahquamenon Falls to Falls Trail Run is a trail running event in Paradise, Michigan. The course goes from the Upper Tahquamenon Falls to the Lower Tahquamenon Falls and back. It includes crossing a new pedestrian bridge near the lower falls to complete a 1200-meter loop on an island trail.
Course and Logistics
The single event distance is a 9-mile trail run. The start and finish are near a trailhead east of the Tahquamenon Brewery. The course follows blue-blazed trails, including the North Country Trail (NCT). Participants must reach the aid station at the pedestrian bridge within 90 minutes to continue; otherwise, they must arrange and pay for a shuttle or pickup from the lower falls area.
A Michigan Recreation Pass is required to enter the park; it can be purchased as a day pass at the entrance or added to a yearly vehicle registration.
Participant Information
Registration is limited to 100 participants. There is no waiting list when the event sells out. Registration prices vary by date, and a t-shirt option is available for an additional fee. All finishers receive a medal.
Packet pickup is available the evening before the race near the brewery and on race morning near the start/finish area. Awards are given to top overall finishers and first-place age group winners, which include a custom award and a gift card to the Tahquamenon Brewery.
On-Course Support
One aid station is located at the pedestrian bridge, roughly at the 4-mile mark, offering water, sports drinks, and various snacks. Finish line food and drinks are also provided. Running with dogs or strollers is not permitted. Carrying a cellular device is required for safety. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
