Tahquamenon Falls to Falls Trail Run
The event is a trail race on Saturday, September 19, 2026 in Paradise, Michigan, running between Upper Tahquamenon Falls and Lower Tahquamenon Falls. The course distance is 9 Miles and the event is hosted and timed by Yooper Running Company. Michigan Recreation passes are required to enter the park and may be obtained through vehicle registration or as day passes at the park entrance.
The trail route begins near the trailhead east of Tahquamenon Brewery, follows a connector trail to the nature trail and the North Country Trail marked by blue blazes, crosses the pedestrian bridge, completes a counterclockwise island loop, and returns to the upper falls for the finish. The aid station is located at the pedestrian bridge just before the four mile mark and can be reached twice because the island loop is short. The aid station will provide water, Gatorade and a range of snacks. Finish line food and drinks are provided to finishers, and all finishers receive a medal.
Field size is limited to 100 participants. Registration includes an optional T shirt for an additional fee, and event insurance is available with registration. There are no refunds. Runners must reach the aid station within 90 minutes or they will not be allowed to finish and must arrange shuttle pickup or extraction. The course has significant elevation changes and can be slippery; dogs and strollers are not allowed and participants are required to carry a cellular device for emergencies.
