About the race
The event is a 10 km trail run based at Twisted Tree Brewery on the Tusmore Estate near Bicester (OX27 7SH). The course starts close to the Tap Room and follows private trails, woodlands and scenic footpaths on estate land. The route is relatively flat with an elevation gain of about 51 m and is predominantly off road.
The organiser describes the terrain as 95% off road. There are two water refill stations on course and the event is designated a cupless event. Finishers receive a medal and a pint cup together with a free drink; alcoholic and non alcoholic options are included in the entry fee. Chip timing, race photos, prizes, toilets, bag drop and free onsite car parking are provided.
Entry fees are listed as £31 to £33, with a 10 percent discount for the first 100 entries. Minimum age to enter is 16. A two hour cut off is applied with allowance for walking pace. A provisional route is available online and a race guide is issued to entrants; free downloadable race photos are offered after the event. Entries close on June 17 if capacity is not reached earlier.
