About the race
The Berks, Bucks & Oxon Cross Country Championships take place at Broughton Castle in Oxfordshire on 22 November 2026. The event is organised by the Berks, Bucks and Oxon Cross Country Association and is open to clubs and organisations whose headquarters are in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire or Oxfordshire. Races cover a range of age groups from Under-12 through Veteran/Master categories. Team scoring uses the first three finishers for most races; in the Under-20, Senior and Veteran Men’s race the first six finishers score for a team.
Under-12 races are not official Championship races but medals and team trophies will be awarded. Distances (approximate): - Under-20, Senior and Veteran Women: 7.8 km - Under-20, Senior and Veteran Men: 7.8 km - Under-18 combined race: 6.3 km - Under-16 races: 4.4 km - Under-14 races: 3.5 km - Under-12 races: 2.0 km Entries are submitted online via OpenTrack with a published entry deadline of 8 November 2026. Entry fees per athlete are noted for each age group. Chip timing will be used and race bibs with barcodes are issued on race day.
Athletes must be first claim members of a BBO-area club, registered and paid with England Athletics, and eligible under UK Athletics rules. Medals and trophies will be presented at the castle gatehouse by the event organisers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
