Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon Weekend
Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon Weekend is a multi-day running festival held in early October 2026 that includes races for children and adults across multiple distances. Events take place across two cities, circle three urban lakes and cross the Mississippi River. Several finishes and course highlights pass the State Capitol and downtown districts.

The Marathon, 10 Mile and 10K are USATF sanctioned for 2026; the TC 10K serves as the 2026 USATF 10K Championships. The weekend includes family-focused, volunteer and charity team opportunities and an Equity in Motion program offering a limited number of 50% entry fee discounts. The Kids Run Free discount applies automatically at checkout for participants under 18.
Operational policies noted include a public registration opening on March 3, 2026, a 48-hour refund window after registration, transfer options through August 31, 2026, no current deferral program, authorized packet pick-up procedures, stroller permission for 5K or shorter, and allowance of water vests on course.
