Twilight Mile Mania
Twilight Mile Mania is a track event held at Waverly High School Track in Lansing, MI. The program includes children's fun runs and multiple one mile races organized by age and pace groups.
The event features these distances:
- 200 m - Kids fun run, ages 10 and under
- 400 m - Kids fun run, ages 10 and under
- 1 mile - Youth and adult races grouped by age and pace
Entry fees are listed by category: $20 for adults, $10 for youth under age 14, and free entry for the kids 200 m and 400 m races for ages 10 and under.
Awards include Playmakers gift cards for the overall top three male and female finishers and the top three male and female masters. Awards are handed out on a rolling basis after each event. Small giveaways for children's race participants include ribbons and temporary tattoos.
Packet pick up is available and same day registration is offered. The event is organized by the Next Gen Distance Team and timing and results are provided by Michigan Running Foundation.
