Twilight Mile Mania : Waverly High School Track, Lansing, MI
Twilight Mile Mania is a track event taking place on July 30, 2026, at the Waverly High School Track in Lansing, Michigan. The program includes short children's fun runs and multiple one-mile races grouped by age and pace.
The event features:
- 200 m children's fun run
- 400 m children's fun run
- 1 mile races
Race categories include children's races for ages 10 and under, a youth division for ages 11 to 14, and several adult pace-grouped one-mile races. Entry fees are stated as follows: children's 200 m and 400 m events are free for ages 10 and under; youth ages 11 to 14 have a fee of $10; adult races have a $20 entry fee.
Additional event details: packet pickup and same-day registration are available. Awards include Playmakers gift cards for overall top three male and female finishers and for top three masters in each gender. Small giveaways such as ribbons and temporary tattoos are provided to children's race participants. The event is organized by the Next Gen Distance Team, with proceeds benefiting Waverly cross-country students and local charities. Michigan Running Foundation provides timing and results.
