Event Details
The event period runs from late June through late July. Several races have in-person components at the Fortson 4-H Center, while others are virtual "On Your Own" runs. For the final 12K event, participants run a 6K before July 25 and then run a second 6K in the Athens area on that date; their combined time creates a 12K result.
Participants can earn points in two series. Awards are given to individuals with the lowest cumulative time for all 12 races, with categories including Overall, Master, Grand Master, Senior Grand Master, and Youth. Awards will be presented at the 12K event.
A special edition T-shirt is provided to each runner who pre-registers for four or more races. Individual race registration is $14, with a $20 fee for race day registration for in-person events. A family rate for all 12 races is available for families of four or more. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
