Event Overview
The Eagle 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon is scheduled for Saturday, July 11, 2026, in Athens, Georgia. The start and finish location is the North Oconee River Greenway Trailhead on North Oconee Access Road.
Race Details
The event offers three distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon
All races start together. Packet pickup begins 30 minutes before the race start and concludes 10 minutes before the start. Registration is required online; there is no on-site registration.
Course Information
The courses are out-and-back layouts along the greenway. The 5K and 10K share a 3.11-mile out-and-back segment. The 5K completes this segment once, while the 10K completes it twice. The Half Marathon course uses a 3.28-mile out-and-back segment, which runners complete four times. A parking lot is available near the starting point.
Additional Information
There is a course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes. All finishers receive a themed medal. Costumes are encouraged but not required. This race contributes points to the US Road Running Race Series. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
