Eagle 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon
The US Road Running event in Athens, Georgia, takes place at the North Oconee River Greenway Trailhead. This race is part of the US Road Running Race Series and offers three distinct distances for participants on an out-and-back course.
The event features three race lengths:
- 5K - This distance consists of one lap of a 3.11 mile out-and-back course.
- 10K - This distance involves completing the out-and-back circuit two times.
- Half Marathon - This distance requires completing a 3.28 mile out-and-back circuit four times.
Participants must register through the RunSignup platform, as no on-site registration is available. Packet pickup is conducted at the North Oconee Access Road location shortly before the start. The event has a total course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes.
All finishers receive a themed medal upon completing their respective distances. While not a requirement, the organization encourages participants to wear costumes during the event.
