Chickasaw Nation Turtle "Loksi Malili" Run
The Turtle "Loksi Malili" Run is a community athletic event hosted by the Chickasaw Nation in Ardmore, Oklahoma. Held at the Ardmore Regional Park, the event offers two different distances for participants:
- 5K Run/Walk
- 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk
The event is free of charge and takes place on a Friday evening. Registration is available online in advance or on-site at the park. Participants may use strollers for both distances, though pets are not permitted at the event. Walkers participating in the 5K distance are asked to stay to the right side of the course to allow for clear passage.
Tee shirts are provided to participants on a first-come, first-serve basis while supplies are available. For those participating in the competitive 5K, individual awards are presented across various age groups. Categories start at ages 8 and under and continue in five-year increments up to 75 and over.
