Sachse High School Turkey Trot
The Sachse High School Turkey Trot is scheduled for November 26, 2026 at Sachse High School, 3901 Miles Road, Sachse, Texas. The event includes both a short fun run and a timed 5K walk/run held on the same day.

Online registration opens August 23, 2026 and closes November 5, 2026. The listed registration fee is $35.00, and a nominal processing fee applies for each registration. Race-week packet pickup is scheduled the Saturday before the event at the Sachse High School cafeteria; pickup hours are 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
The 5K will use a disposable bib-tag timing system; participants must wear the timing tag to be included in official results and to be eligible for awards. Official results will be posted by the timing company.
Awards for the 5K include medals for first, second, and third place male and female finishers in each age category. Age groups are 12 and under, 13-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and up. Additional recognitions include overall first place male and female and an award for the oldest runner.
Parking is available at Sewell Elementary, Hudson Middle School, and the Sachse High School student lots. There is no general gear check. Restrooms will be available inside the school by the main entrance. The event will proceed in inclement weather and no refunds are issued. Proceeds support the Sachse High School senior class.
