Turkey Trot 4 Hope
Turkey Trot 4 Hope is a community running event at Norway Fire Station, 19 Danforth Street, Norway, ME. The course loops through downtown Norway and continues along Norway Lake. There is a turnaround with a water station at the Wook Nook upper parking lot.
The event includes on-site and virtual options. Distances offered include a 4 Mile Run, a 1 Mile Walk, and a 1 Mile Fun Run. Everyone in the 1 Mile events begins together. Children in the fun run receive a medal at the finish. Awards are presented to top runners in several age groups.
A standard registration fee is $25. Students in K-12 run free thanks to a sponsor. Online registration is available through November 22; in-person registration is available on Thanksgiving Day.
