Turkey Trot 5K - Waterloo
Turkey Trot 5K takes place on Thanksgiving Day, November 26, 2026, at George Wyth State Park in Waterloo, Iowa. The event site is listed as 3659 Wyth Rd, Waterloo, IA 50703.

Two 5K entries are offered: an adult 5K and a youth 5K for ages 0 to 18. The adult 5K registration fee is $25.00 and the 0 to 18 5K fee is $20.00. Registration opens January 11, 2026 and closes November 26, 2026. The first 500 registrants will receive a 2026 beanie.
The Tot Trot for ages 0 to 12 is free. Each Tot Trot participant receives a medal.
Awards are given by age group. The top three runners in each age category receive a commemorative medal. Listed age groups include 0-12, 13-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 plus.
