Kokomo Family YMCA Turkey Trot 5K
The Kokomo Family YMCA Turkey Trot is a family-friendly 5K held on Thanksgiving Day, November 26, 2026. The event begins at the Kokomo Family YMCA and follows a scenic route through part of downtown, Foster Park and the Trail of Excellence. Participants can choose between a 5K run or a 5K walk; all options cover 3.1 miles.
There are two registration periods with different fees and shirt delivery timing. Registrations from August 21 through November 8 carry a $30 fee and include a shirt by race day. Registrations from November 9 through November 24 carry a $40 fee and include a shirt delivered about two weeks after the race. The first 100 participants will receive a limited edition Turkey Trot hoodie that includes the hooded Turkey eyes.
All finishers receive finisher medals, and overall male and overall female medals will be awarded. Packet pickup is available at the Kokomo Family YMCA community room on the day before the race and on the morning of the race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
