Boys & Girls Club of Tipton County Annual Shamrock 5k Run/ Walk
The event is the second annual St. Patrick's Day 5k and Fun Run held in Tipton, Indiana. The event base is at the CW Mount Building, located at 341 W Jefferson Street, with the course beginning and ending at the CW Mount Building parking lot.

The 5k course follows local streets and park trails. Participants exit the CW Mount parking lot, go west on East Madison Street, turn south onto South 200 West, then east on Fairgrounds Road. Along Fairgrounds Road the route enters a trail that leads north into the park. Inside the park runners follow a north-side loop, pass restrooms on the left, complete one full loop and then a partial second loop to a pedestrian bridge. The course crosses the bridge, continues south on West Adams Street, turns north onto First Street, and returns to the CW Mount parking lot for the finish.
Timing for the run is chip timed while the walk is clock timed. Results are posted after the event and timing and scoring are provided by Above and Beyond Timing. The finish area provides free fruit, water, and cookies. Registrations made before March 1 include a free t shirt. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
