The 2025 Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cake Run takes place on Sunday, Dec. 7, 2025, at The Commons in Collegedale, 4950 Swinyar Drive, Collegedale, Tennessee. The event offers in-person and virtual options. Distances offered include:
- Half-marathon
- 7-mile
- 5K run
- 5K walk
- Kids' dash (0.5K, ages 2-10)
Registration for each event is capped: half-marathon 100, 7-mile 75, 5K run 250, 5K walk 75, kids’ dash 50. Packet pick-up is available at the Little Debbie Bakery Store and on race day at the Commons. Virtual participants receive their race packet with shirt and medal by Dec. 31, 2025. Proceeds benefit the Collegedale Veterans Memorial Park.
Course and logistics
Start and finish are at Little Debbie Park and the Commons in Collegedale. The half-marathon, 7-mile and 5K runs run mostly on Collegedale’s greenway, passing Veterans Park, a pond, a tunnel, a creek, and bridges. The 5K walk uses six loops on the sidewalk adjacent to Little Debbie Park. The kids’ dash is on a wide, continuous sidewalk loop in the park. There are multiple public restrooms and free parking near Little Debbie Park, Imagination Station, the Commons, and a public lot on Ooltewah-Ringgold Road. A Little Debbie costumed character and Toys for Tots will be on site. The event runs rain or shine and does not allow pets except service animals.
