Turkey Shuffle - Shreveport
The Turkey Shuffle takes place on 11/14/2026 at Stoner Avenue Skate Plaza in Shreveport, Louisiana. The event is organized by Bigfoot Running Company and uses local parks and greenbelts with mixed surfaces that may include pavement, crushed granite, and dirt paths.
Race options include:
- Kids Dash about 50 meters for children 10 and under
- 1 Mile untimed event with shirt and medal
- 5K chip timed 3.11 mile course
- 10K chip timed 6.22 mile course
- Virtual Run option at 6.22 miles
- Volunteer then Run 5K with a timed bib and finisher items
All finishers receive a medal and shirt. The 5K and 10K offer first overall trophies for male and female finishers, masters recognition, and standard age group awards across youth to 70 plus brackets. Aid stations will provide water on course. Snacks and refreshments are available at the race rally tent after finishing. Music and announcements will be provided at the event.
A costume contest awards a Biggest Turkey trophy and a prize pack that includes two future race certificates, an HEB gift card, and a Bigfoot Running Company swag pack.
