Turkey Shuffle - Shreveport

The Turkey Shuffle in Shreveport on November 14, 2026 is a community running event held at a to-be-determined location in Shreveport, LA. The course uses local parks and greenbelts and may include paved trails, crushed granite, and some dirt paths. • Kids Dash, about 50 meters, for children 10 and under
• 1 Mile run, untimed
• 5K run, 3.11 miles, chip timed
• 10K run, 6.22 miles, chip timed
• Volunteer then Run 5K, chip timed, limited availability
• Virtual Run, 6.22 miles

All finishers receive a medal and a shirt. The 5K and 10K include overall trophies for top finishers, masters recognition, and a full set of age group award pins. Aid stations are placed on course to provide water and assistance. A DJ will provide music and live announcements at the race rally area. A costume contest features a Biggest Turkey trophy and a prize pack that includes certificates for future races, a gift card, and a Bigfoot Running Company swag pack.

Volunteer roles are available for water stations, course monitoring, packet pickup, finish line support, lead bike, mascot, and related duties.
