Event overview
The Turkey Leg 5K Run takes place on Thursday, November 27, 2025, in Willmar, MN (Kandi YMCA, 1000 Lakeland Dr SE). The event is a 5K (3.1 mile) asphalt roadside course around Willmar streets. Water is provided at the halfway mark. The course is open for 1.5 hours. Walkers are welcome. The course holds a USATF certification: MN 10026RR.
Logistics and awards
Standard entry shows a listed price of $32.80 (includes a $2.80 fee) and the price increases after November 8, 2025. Race entry includes a race t-shirt (shirt sizes are guaranteed for registrations before November 14) and a snack and beverage at the finish. Same-day registration and packet pickup are available. Results are posted via Pickle Events. Awards include medals for the top male and top female, medals for places 1-3 in each age division, a medal for the largest family group, and an award for best dressed (Thanksgiving costumes).
